He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Barker and Ila Barker (Williams); and his siblings, Danny, Thomas, Mary and Jeanne.
He is survived by: his children, Mark, Marlon, Jackie, Judy and Terri; his wife Verna Carlson; his stepchildren, Carla, Ronald Jr. and Shawn; and his brother Mike. He is also survived by many grandchildren and step-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Wass Funeral Chapel (400 Wisconsin St, Centerville, SD 57014). A memorial service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
