He was predeceased by: his father Gerhard H. Nilsen. He is survived by: his mother Rita Nilsen (Fusco); his wife Kathy; his children, Jessica, Daniel, Kyle and Emma (Sam); his granddaughter Amelia; his brother Evan; and his stepmother Barbara.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Trinity Reformed Church (7301 S Louise Ave, Sioux Falls, SD 57108).
