He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Don, Peggy Miner and Jan (Bill Bock). He is survived by: his parents, Don Miner and Tami Miner (Olson); his wife Shawn; his daughters, Bayla, Charlotte, Ada and Maren; his sister Jessie Gartner (Mike); his nieces and nephews, Clare and Gus; his grandfather Donnie Olson; his parents-in-law, Bill Sinkular and Melanie (Rick Steskal); his sister-in-law Mandy Goens (Jerad); his niece Jennie; his nephew Jack; his brother-in-law Chris Sinkular; and his nephew William. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers, an education fund has been set up for Ben's daughters at American Bank & Trust, 1820 Dakota Ave. S, Huron SD 57350.
