He was predeceased by: his wife Lois Neevel; his parents, Bert Boughton and Esther Boughton; his son Eugene Boughton (Lori); and his siblings, Harold, Lyle and Jean.
He is survived by: his children, Mahlon Boughton (Ronda) of Watertown, SD, Debra Aderhold (Edward) of Castlewood, SD, Wayne Boughton (Billie) of Aurora, CO and Cheryl Collins (Michael) of Hayti, SD; and his sister-in-law Marlys Boughton of Jamestown, ND.. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
