She was predeceased by: her parents, William Smunk and Grace Smunk (Jenkins); her husband Bill Janssen; and her children, Jim Janssen and Cindy Sievers.
She is survived by: her children, Roger Janssen (DJ) of Isabel, SD, Roxanne Bass (Craig) of Castlewood, SD, Steve Janssen (Lisa) of Castlewood, SD and Tony Janssen of Castlewood, SD; her children-in-law, Deb Janssen of Castlewood, SD and Calvin Sievers of Rapid City, SD; and her sister-in-law Eileen Smunk of Sauk Rapids, MN. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hamlin Reformed Church (18623 465th Ave, Castlewood, SD 57223). A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
