He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Latt and Adeline Latt; his children, LeRoy and Kathy; and his brother Steven.
He is survived by: his wife Kaye Marie Kangas; his children, Ricky (Julie) and Linda (Michael); his siblings, Lana Ronning and Roger (Lois); and his friends, Darrell Johnson and Pike Hemp. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
