He is survived by: his wife Noma of Castlewood, SD; his sons, Kevin Kannas (Lisa) of Hayti, SD and Kyle Kannas of Cedar Rapids, IA; his grandchildren, Cole Kannas (Sara) of Hayti, SD, Kendra Kannas of Hayti, SD, Amanda Kannas (John VandendolDer) of Minneapolis, MN, Andrew Kannas of Sioux Falls, SD and Nathan Kannas (Tara) of Cedar Rapids, IA; his great grandchildren, Cash, Cora, Colter Kannas and Isabella Kannas; his siblings, Arlys Nisich of Watertown, SD, Wayne Kannas of Watertown, SD and Charles Kannas (Carleen) of Watertown, SD; and his siblings-in-law, Maynard Groskreutz (Dona), Anotta Britzman and Velma Clark. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
