He was predeceased by: his parents, Beatrice Jacobsen and Russell Jacobsen; and his nephew-in-law John Chau. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Kay Jacobsen; his son Cory Nels Jacobsen of Sioux Falls; his stepson Michael Griffith; his siblings, Bob Jacobsen, David Jacobsen, Ron Jacobsen (Deb), Cathy Zimmer (Jim), Cindy Benson (Steve) and Pam Jacobsen; and his pets, Kallie, Tinkerbell and Bear. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews, a great-great niece.
