He is survived by: his brother James (Charlotte Opsahl) of Carpenter; his niece Angela Gilligan (Chris); his nephew Derek Opsahl (Karrie); his great-niece Jordyn Gilligan; and his great-nephews, Kain, Gannon Gilligan and Ashton Opsahl.
