We are sad to announce that on October 7, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Michael Rypkema of Caputa, South Dakota, born in Rapid City, South Dakota. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Milo Rypkema and Helen Rypkema; his sisters, Lynda Taylor and Marsha Gemeny; his brother-in-law Denny Gemeny; his uncles, Llyod and Eddie Rypkema; and also Barbara Harrigan.
He is survived by: his sons, Mike, Marty and Eddie; his close friend Susie Tarrant of Stockman's Lounge; his son Ryon (Teresa Rypkema); his grandchildren, Mica, Reis Rypkema, Izabell and Izaah Bartels; his brothers, Marty Rypkema (Deb) and Eddie Rypkema (Karen); his significant other Susie; and his grandson Rocky.
A memorial has been established in honor of Michael "Rocky" Rypkema.
