He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo McCann and Minnie McCann (Tentler); his wife Helen Lynn; his daughter Janet; his grandson Scott Meyer; his great grandchild Dillon Bublitz; and his siblings, Jay, Dale, Vic, Jack and Margie.

He is survived by: his children, Barb Meyer (Ed) of Bridgewater, SD, Judy Sperling of San Antonio, TX, Connie Sweeter of Sioux Falls, SD, Kevin McCann (Cheryl) of Canton, SD, Kathy McCann of Sioux Falls, SD and Carol Kruse of Sioux Falls, SD; and his brother Jim McCann (Jane). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren.
