He was loved and cherished by many people including: his grandfather Herbert McKenney; his wife Gladys Braaten; his children, Douglas McKenney (Sherry) of Canton, SD, Linda Herman (Robert), Rodney McKenney and Laura Tommeraasen; his grandchildren, Ryan McKenney, Evan McKenney (Sammi Hotzler), Stephanie Johnson (Devon) and Amanda Smith (Josh); his stepgrandsons, Robert (Mary), Jared and Kurt Tommeraasen; his great grandchildren, Noah Johnson, Lydia, Mya and Ava Smith; his siblings, Robert McKenney (Viola) and Irene Oaks (Don) of Billings, MT; his son-in-law James Tommeraasen; and his siblings, Lawrence, Leonard, Roy, Ralph, Marilyn and Evelyn. He was also cherished by numerous extended family and friends.
