We are sad to announce that on September 27, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Susan Halvorson (Canton, South Dakota). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ole Halvorson and Anna Johneva Halvorson (Welde); and her sister Judy Hemmingson (Vernon). She is survived by: her sister Nancy Waltner (Roy); her nephews, Keith Hemmingson (Lisa) and Greg Hemmingson (Penny); her great-nephews, Isaac and Jacob Hemmingson; her cousin Karen Van Noort; and her pet Sophie.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 2nd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Grand Valley Lutheran Church (28529 SD-11, Canton, SD 57013). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 2nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the American Heart Association or the Grand Valley Lutheran Church Building Fund.
