He was predeceased by: his parents, George Petterson and Christine Petterson (Monrad); and his daughter-in-law Nancy Petterson. He is survived by: his wife Donna Olson. He is also survived by six grandchildren, six step grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and two step great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Granite Threshermen's Association or the SD Honor Flight.
