He is survived by: his wife Linda Oakland; his children, Teresa Beitzel (Rich) of Canton, SD, Greg (Tara) of Canton, SD, David (Donna) of Canton, SD and Trevor (Jodi) of Canton, SD; his siblings, Richard Ekle (Elaine) of Canton, SD, Nordell Ekle and Carolyn Boyer (Lee) of Canton, SD; his brother-in-law John Widboom; his grandchildren, Zach (Tristin), Chase, Emily, Hillary (Jason), Taylor, Megan (Mike), Caleb, Kaylee, Ashley (Cordell), Jessica, Kelsey (Brian), Kase (Sarah), Kadee and Courtney (Kevin); and his great grandchildren, Reagan, Ryan, Tyler, Lane and Hadley. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Canton Fire Dept. or the Granite Threshermen Association.
