He is survived by: his son-in-law Greg Bates; his wife Virginia of Canton, SD; his children, Gina Scott of Canton, SD and Julie Bates (Greg) of Harrisburg, SD; his grandchildren, Spencer (Erin), Logan (Stephanie), Gabe (Raven), Kade, Delaney and Max; his great grandchildren, Harper, Preslee, Knox and Fletcher; and also, Spencer Borns, Logan Dolen, Gabe Dolen, Kade Scott, Delaney Scott and Max Bates.
