It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leona Twedt (Canton, South Dakota), who passed away on December 16, 2019, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter DeKing and Grace DeKing (Anema); her husband Olaf Twedt; and her siblings, Ida, Carol, Gertie, Peter and Richard.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Schartz (Jeff) of Sioux Falls, SD and Terry Twedt (Kathy) of Sioux Falls, SD; her siblings, Wilfred DeKing of Ellsworth, MN, Gilma Brooks (Frank) of Sioux Falls, SD and Lorena Wojahn; her grandchildren, Ann Abel (Ben), Andrew Schartz (Katie), Brian Twedt (Patience) and Sarah Anderson (Kelsey); and her great grandchildren, Kaidynce, Addison, Harrison, Evelyn, Charlie, Cameron, Espen, Harris, Lily and Lila.
