He was loved and cherished by many people including: his grandfather Jacob Holter; his spouse Verna Brynjulson; his son Jerome Holter (Jerry); his daughter-in-law Carole Sparks of Sioux Falls; his sisters-in-law, Doris Towne, Carol Brynjulson and Dorothy Brynjulson; his foster sons, Donald Sparks and Daniel Sparks; his brother Laurel Holter; his sister-in-law Woodie Holter; his sister Ilva Holter; and his brothers-in-law, Willis Towne, Robert Brynjulson and Harlan Brynjulson. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of relatives and friends.
Julian will long be remembered for the passion he held for his Christian faith, his family, farming, and music. "Well done, good and faithful servant" Matthew 25:21 In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Grand Valley Building Fund or the Canton Good Samaritan Courtyard Project.
