He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles and Josina; his former wife Anna Dean; his daughters, Tamera Hilt and Rhonda Hilt Kidd; his brothers, Arie and Raymond Hilt; and his great grandchild Josie Windschill.
He is survived by: his daughters, Anna Marie Mundt (Jerry) of Canton, SD and Lavonna Lems (Tim) of Beloit, IA; his fiancée Elaine Surdez of Canton, SD; his son-in-law David Kidd of Denver, CO; his grandchildren, Tamera Mundt Davis (Lennie), Sara Mundt Nelson (Brad), Stephanie Kidd Furley (Jason), Jonathan Kidd (Pricilla Luhan) of Denver, CO, Jason Mundt (Ashley) of Luverne, MN, Emily Lems Souvignier (Ted) and Molly Lems Larsgaard (Andy); and his siblings, Charlie Hilt (Pearl) of Canton and Betty Garcia (Ken) of Canton.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Anderson Funeral Home (403 N Main St, Canton, SD 57013). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
