“I am going to miss John so very much! He was like a grandpa to my kids and always made it to family events when possible. I met John when he lived on the south side of Des Moines. He was always willing to share some small talk with me and I enjoyed talking with him. I know he meant the world to my mom and my mom meant the world to him. I’m so happy that they were able to go on their latest adventure. But he’s gone too soon and we will miss him dearly. Love you John!”
