As Janet departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Janet may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Janet leaves behind.

She was predeceased by: her brother Steve. She is survived by: her husband Tom Laubach of Cheyenne, Wyoming.; her children, Nate Laubach (Laurel) and Sara Hill; her grandchildren, Colton Laubach (Karisa), Kyle Laubach (Kalyn), Kaden Laubach and Carlee Laubach; and her great grandchild Creek.

A memorial service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Canton United Methodist Church (621 E 4th St, Canton, SD 57013).

Donations in Janet's memory may be made to the Canton Volunteer Fire Department or the Canton United Methodist Church.
