He is survived by: his wife Henrietta Vander Syde; his daughters, Cheryl Martin (Ronald) of Waverly and Lorraine Ackerman (David) of Canton; his grandsons, Brian, Bradley, Brandon Martin and Jeremy Ackerman; his great grandchildren, Kelvin, Alanna Paul, Breanna Martin and Lincoln Martin; his siblings, Kenneth Tilstra (Mary) of Sheridan and Marcine Kempema (Lloyd) of Greely, Colorado.; and his siblings-in-law, Clarence Pennings of Orange City, Carolyn Tilstra of Surprise, Arizona, Nellie Tilstra of Sioux Falls, Marilyn Tilstra of Denver, Colorado and Donna Tilstra of Inwood, Iowa.. He is also survived by Numerous nephews, nieces, extended family members, and friends.
