It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dennis Kessel of Canton, South Dakota, born in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, who passed away on April 30, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Kessel and Bertha Kessel (Stroman); and his sisters, Lana Kessel and Diane Krell. He is survived by: his siblings, Sam Smith (Peg), Doug Kessel (Judy) and Ava Schipper (Spencer); his aunt Lenora Thomson; and his brother-in-law Dennis Krell. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended relatives and friends.
