He was predeceased by: his parents, William Minihan and Patricia Minihan (Dougherty); his brother Jim; his brother-in-law Shawn McCarty; and his nieces, Jennie and Claire Minihan.
He is survived by: his wife Holly Spear; his sons, Patrick, Garrett (Natalie Van Wyhe) and Marshall; and his siblings, Erin McCarty of Sioux Falls, SD, Mike (Theresa), Pat (Missy), Tim (Valerie) and Molly Minihan.
In lieu of flowers, a fund has been established for his boys at Security Savings Bank P.O. Box 125 Canton, SD 57013.
