Allen Brandsma Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Allen Brandsma in Canton, South Dakota, who passed away on July 26, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Abe Brandsma and Rena Brandsma (Heimstra); his wife Margaret Maxam; his brother Robert; and his parents-in-law, Gorden and Hazel Maxam.
He is survived by: his daughter Susan Schmit (Mark) of Bristol, SD; his grandchildren, Jonathan of Canton, SD and Laura; his brothers, George Brandsma of Euless, TX and Loren Brandsma (Roberta); and his sister-in-law Carrie Brandsma of Sioux Falls, SD. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends.
