He was predeceased by: his parents, William Koepsell and Mathilda "Tillie" Koepsell; his wife Connie Hanten; his granddaughter Shannon Kidd; his son-in-law Dave Neises; his sister Jeanette Peterson; and his half-brother Leroy Koepsell.
He is survived by: his children, Chad (Kelli), Heath (Ronda), Dawn Mason (Dave) of Sioux City, IA, LaVoy Amundson (Buck), Colton, Roxie Frey (Dave), Wanda Laible (John) and Howard; his grandchildren, Jaime, Shawn (Amie), Carly (Adam Pemberton), Cara, Cally, Sabra, Chelsea, Sierra, Brooke, Stephanie, Dean, Drew, Camren (Becki), Vanessa (Wyatt Walter), Landon (Abby), Ceri (Alex Klopp), Carolyn, Cayla, Morgan (Brady Maher), Madisen and Kolt; and his great grandchildren, Austyn, Canyon, Hadynn, Leon, Emberlee, Collins, Tawny, Blake, Zack, Lettie, Ransom, Whitley and Grey. He is also survived by brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, and several special friends.
