She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Stauffacher and Ethel Stauffacher (McKnelly); her son Shawn Mataya; and her sister Shirley Stauffacher. She is survived by: her husband John Mataya of Canistota, SD; her daughters, Regan Anderson (Jeff) of Brandon, SD and Crista Mataya of Humboldt, SD; her grandchildren, Josh Hoefert (Kristen) of Sioux Falls, SD, Cameron Mataya of Perris, CA, Brie Hoefert of Sioux Falls, SD, Trase Anderson (Betsy) of Sioux Falls, SD, Alec Mataya, AJ Jensen (Shelby Lohan) of Hartford, SD and Mersedez Jensen of Humboldt, SD; and her great grandchildren, Breyden, Zayta, Preslee, Ayden, Adalynn, Oliver and Caryl. She is also survived by twelve siblings; along with a host of many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
