It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mildred L. Simon of Canistota, South Dakota, born in Lebanon, South Dakota, who passed away on October 3, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Cooper and Mary Cooper (Schumacher); her husband Clem; her daughter Judy Wager; her grandson Denem; and her siblings, Ann, Clarence, Paul and Loretta.
She is survived by: her children, Penny Baus (Brendan) of Gettysburg, Jacqueline Hansen (Rich) of Gettysburg, Susan Combs (Dan) of Peyton, Rebecca Hansen (Les) and Geoffrey Simon (Beth); and her son-in-law Herb Wager. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren.
