He is survived by: his wife Judy Catches of Chadron, NE; his children, Robert Catches of Rapid City, SD, Martin Catches, Jr. (Sheri) of Rapid City, SD, Kristie Sitting Holy (James) of Rapid City, SD, Sasha Catches of Denver, CO, Thomas of Chadron, NE, Lillian Catches of Chadron, NE, Joseph Catches (Andrea) of Alliance, NE and Kevin Catches of Rapid City, SD; and his siblings, Bernice Catches (Jim Green) of Martin, SD, Joseph "Ed" Catches of Calico, SD, June Catches of Chadron, NE, Emily Catches of Newtown, ND and Adeline "Sissy" Catches of Oglala, SD. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
