She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley "Skyk" and Velda Vosika (Johnson); her son Brent; and her parents-in-law, Darrel and Helen Young (Brevik).

She is survived by: her husband Weary Young; her children, Brenda Young of Midland, TX, Brian Young (Dodi) of Sioux Falls, Brett Young (Betsy) of Sheldon, IA and Breana Kennedy (Jack) of Mitchell; her grandchildren, Nicholas, Tyler (Karisa), Jenna (Zach), Taylor, Isaiah, Jackson, Paige, Ashlyn and Drake; her great grandchildren, Braxton, Gunnar and Jolee; her brother Craig Vosika (Roberta) of Gregory; and her brothers-in-law, Doyle Young (Barbara) and Boyt Young (Theresa). She is also survived by uncle, and several aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.
