It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Randy DeWolf of Burke, South Dakota, born in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, who passed away on September 30, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Ercel DeWolf (Sunding). He is survived by: his wife Linda DeWolf of Burke, SD; his son Jeff; his daughter-in-law Teresa DeWolf of Akron, IA; his daughters, Casey Bailey of Platte, SD and Abbey; his son-in-law Chris Mikkelsen of Sioux Falls, SD; his grandchildren, Parker, Jye, Knox and Nyla; and his stepgrandchildren, Jackson, Presley and Joel. He is also survived by loving brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.

“In loving memory of Randy DeWolf, I have no words to take away your pain. I do want to share with you about one of the boys from 'Highmore.' Randy DeWolf was fun, kind, and enthusiastic about life. I was born in South Dakota, and teaching many years out of state. However; I kept track of the coaches I knew from school and I knew about Randy's coaching years and his wins. Randy's most remembered win is the legacy he is leaving to his family, friends and community.”
