She was predeceased by: her parents, James Hlavka and Anna Hlavka (Lapour); her sisters, Olga (Erwin Flakus), Anna (Harold Schunemann) and Marie (Rueben Iden); her brothers-in-law, John Engelmeyer and Paul Rust; her nephews, Larry Flakus and Stephen Hlavka; her niece Debra Iden; and also, Milo, Lorraine Hlavka, Pauline Rust and Delores Hlavka.
She is survived by: her husband Joseph Charles; her daughter Carol Johnson (Myron) of Burke; her brother James Hlavka of Arizona; and her son Dennis. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, and 19 great grandchildren.
