She was predeceased by: her parents, Noble Aitken and Jessie Aitken (Boerner); her husband Robert Leonard; her son Gene; and her sister Carol V Jones.

She is survived by: her daughters, Joye Greeson of Sioux Falls, Carla Heavlin (John) of Rapid City and Anita DeKramer (Larry); and her daughter-in-law Vicki Leonard.
