He was predeceased by: his parents, Orris Petersen and Ruth Petersen (Evans). He is survived by: his friend Betsy Senter; his children, James of Vancouver, WA and Courtney (Mike) of Mount Vernon, SD; his wife Kathy; and his grandchildren, Hattie, Nora and Walter.
In Lieu of Flowers, memorials may be directed to Grace Lutheran Church, Community Memorial Hospital or the Burke Golf Course.
