He was predeceased by: his wife Evelyn. He is survived by: his parents, Henry Bartling and Elizabeth Bartling (Klein); his children, Catherine, Richard (Janelle), Gayle and Dale; his grandchildren, Ben, Brecken and Bryce; and his brother-in-law Ron Ohlendorf. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
