She was predeceased by: her parents, LeRoy Mincks and Helen Ruth Mincks (Browning); her husband Robert Nielsen; her daughter Amber DeWitt; and her siblings, Leo, Clifford, LaMoine, Kenneth Mincks, Deloris Clarke, Betty Codgill, Lorraine Harkness, Helen Kodlacher and Opal Johnson.

She is survived by: her children, Ronda Miller of Omaha, NE and Scott Nielsen (Joan) of Burbank, SD; her son-in-law Leo Dewitt of Omaha, NE; her siblings, Marjorie Nickels of Humboldt, KS, Darryl (Bev) of Vermillion and Gary Mincks (Nancy) of Vermillion; and her grandchildren, Heather Hamann (Travis), Racheal Chhong, Melissa Gates (Scott), Michaela Bruner (John) and Matt Miller (Sarah). She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren, and many great-nieces and nephews.
