It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Valerie Chalmers of Bullhead, South Dakota, born in Watertown, South Dakota, who passed away on April 1, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sherman Larson and Ruby Larson; her brother Kerry Larson; her parents-in-law, Verling and Margaret Chalmers; and her brother-in-law Mert Chalmers.
She is survived by: her husband George; her children, Greg Chalmers (Diane) of Rochester, MN and Amber Amdahl (Paul) of Mobridge; her grandchildren, Garron, Keenan Chalmers and Georgia; her siblings, Danny Larson, Martin Larson of Bullhead and Melinda Larson (Deedee) of Groton; and her siblings-in-law, Gordon Chalmers (Mary) of Lowry, Dorothy Larson of Selby, Irene Wishard of Foston, MN and Shirley Chalmers of Durham, NC. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
