He was predeceased by: his parents, ElDon Hilliard and Velma Hilliard (Efraimson); his son Vance; and his great grandchild Harlyn Smith. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Hilliard of Bryant, SD; his children, Leah Haug (Stuart) of Bryant, SD, Karen Kopman (John) of Bryant, SD, Roxanne Sarkinen (Ryan) of Buffalo, MN, Stephany Kopman (Leonard) of Bryant, SD, Jesse Hilliard (Misti) of Bryant, SD and Katy Muonio (John) of Waverly, MN; his daughter-in-law Anita Halme of Bryant, SD.; his sister Lizabeth Rosenlund (Lance) of Bryant, SD; and his half-sisters, Bobbi Atkins and Caroline Perrin. He is also survived by 57 grandchildren, 63 great-grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends.
