He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Taschner and Mavis Taschner; his son-in-law Ed Smith; and his grandson Marty Petersen. He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane Evenson; his children, Sandra Smith of Lake Norden, Randy Taschner (Kay) of Hayti and Sarah Tetzlaff (Mark) of Watertown; and his brother Ron Taschner (Donna) of Minneapolis. He is also survived by 12 Grand-children and 18 Great-grandchildren.
