He is survived by: his wife Mary Jean Kangas; his children, Ann (Jim Sundberg) of Duluth, MN, John (Karen), Matthew (Sharon) of Washington, Valerie (Michael Halling) of Lake Norden, SD, Leonard (Stephany) of Bryant, SD, Samuel (Kristiina) of Woodland, WA and Felicia (William Ek) of Woodland, WA; his daughter-in-law Tina Kopman of Bryant, SD; and his siblings, Dale (Debbie Kopman) of Hayti, SD and Ethel Schoenborn of Battle Ground, WA.. He is also survived by 45 grandchildren, 17 step grandchildren, 51 great grandchildren, 57 step great grandchildren.
