With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eugene Heitland of Bryant, South Dakota, who passed away on April 22, 2024 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Heitland and Darlene Heitland (Marx). He is survived by: his wife Lori of Bryant, SD; his daughters, Shelley Barr (Kevin) of Aberdeen, SD, Sarah Davis (Kip) of De Smet, SD and Shauna Hoek (Tom) of Brookings, SD; his grandchildren, Cutler, Harper, Kendall, Blair, Layton, Keeley and Carsyn; and his sisters, Sharon Wicks (Scott) of Carpenter, SD, Susan Sprang (Mike) of Sioux Falls, SD and Shirley Flanagan (Mike) of Garretson, SD..

The family requests memorials be made to Prairie Lakes Hospice in Watertown, SD, in Gene's memory.
