Arnold Poppen Obituary

We are sad to announce that on July 22, 2024, at the age of 96, Arnold Poppen of Bryant, South Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Anton Poppen and Laura Poppen (Schubert); and his sisters, Vera Grensberg and Irene Cramer. He is survived by: his wife Illdena of Bryant, SD; his children, Duane Poppen (Doris) of Aberdeen, SD, Gordon Poppen (Chrystal) of Harrisburg, SD and Janice Stoebner (Russ) of Sioux Falls, SD; and his grandchildren, Heidi Clemens (Jason), Jeff Poppen (Tanya), Heather Kleffman (Brooks), Tyler Poppen, Jamie Lammers (Cody), Amber Burns (Jason), Amy Drummond (Shaun), Adam Stoebner (Laura), Jason Stoebner and Sarah Lutes (Cody). He is also survived by nineteen great-grandchildren.

The family requests donations be made to the Spirit Lake Presbyterian Church in Cork's memory.
