She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Coy and Mary Coy (Liebsch); her husband Frank E. Goodfellow; her daughter Janet Lou Basye (Goodfellow); her brothers, Delwin Coy (Myrna) and Jerry Coy (Ruthie); and her siblings-in-law, Blanche DeBoer (Earl), Letha Kinney (Medford), Ellen Klinsky (Milo) and Horace Goodfellow (Irene).
She is survived by: her daughter Gay Linn Eckman (Jed) of Bruce, SD; her grandchildren, Dylan Eckman of Bruce, SD, Colton Eckman (Christa) of Badger, SD and Kylie Lou Horstman (Jesse) of Baltic, SD; her great grandchild Madelinn Lou Horstman; and her son-in-law Doug Basye of Columbia, TN..
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Preston Christian Church (19943 462nd Ave, Bruce, SD 57220). A prayer was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A celebration of life was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
