He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilford Ronne and Stella Ronne; and his siblings, Ray Ronne, Wally Ronne, Lorraine Benck, Darlene Fairchild and Mildred Nevins.
He is survived by: his children, Randy Ronne (Linda) of Harlan, IA and Cheryl Nelson (Todd) of Aurora, SD; his sister Marlene Lacek; and also, Shad Swedlund (Vicki) of Brookings, SD, Shane Swedlund (Sheri) of Sioux Falls, SD and Slade Swedlund (Jen) of Hill City, SD. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
