It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Hoffman of Brookings, South Dakota, who passed away on May 1, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Virginia is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Virginia's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John J. Jundt and Carolina Jundt (Stoecker). She is survived by: her daughters, Joy Mills (John) and Jane Hanusa (Paul); and her grandchildren, Jennifer Johnson (Andy), Jacob Mills (Tara), John Hanusa (Ashton) and Tessa Hanusa. She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Peace Lutheran Early Childhood Center and School.
