He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Karen Buhl; his children, Dustin Buhl (Kenzie) and Amber Buhl; his grandchildren, Jessa Rindels, Layla, Emery and Nash Buhl; his mother Geraldine Haskell; his stepmother Arlene Buhl; his siblings, Ken Buhl, David Buhl, Willie Haskell, Nancy Dunn (Buhl), Donna LeGrand (Buhl), Judy Dale (Buhl), Jackie Odom (Adam), Debbie Sanchez (Haskell), Tammy Thomas (Haskell) and Dawn Haskell; his father Leroy Buhl; his stepfather Willis Haskell; his grandparents, Elvin, Erna Buhl, Jenny and Chester Lovell; his stepgrandparents, George and Eva Naasz; and his nephew William Legrand. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews.
