He was predeceased by: his parents, Marian Lacher (Gray) and Joseph Lacher; and his spouse Jean Stahlin. He is survived by: his daughters, Jennifer Lacher-Starace (Mike) of Brookings and Stephanie Lacher of Brussels, Belgium; his grandchildren, Olivia and Jonathan Lacher-Starace; his siblings, Richard "Dick" Lacher and Mary Munson; his brothers-in-law, Jeremy Stahlin (Judy) and John Stahlin (Melissa); his niece Sarah Maiocco (Matt); his nephews, Chris Munson (Morgan) and David Stahlin (Britton); his great-nieces, Jane, Lucy Maiocco, Belle and Netta Stahlin; and his great-nephew Van Stahlin.
