It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis J. Nilius (Brookings, South Dakota), born in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, who passed away on February 11, 2019, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Chuck Nilius; and her children, Skip (Kathy), Larry (Cindy), Tim (Twila) and Jeff (Sandy). She was also cherished by 11 grandchildren, and 23 great-grandchildren.
