She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Broer and Francis Broer (Thomas); her siblings, Barbara Stingley (Dean) and Larry Broer; and her brother-in-law Don Brodersen.
She is survived by: her husband Robin M. Savage of Brookings, SD; her son Brian Savage of Brookings, SD; her sisters, Patti Brodersen of Randolph, NE and Vicki Wilken (HB) of Minneapolis, MN; and her grandson Erik Savage of Springfield, MO..
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be directed to the Brookings Area Domestic Abuse Shelter.
