She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Dahlen and Lulu Dahlen (Peterson) of Oldham; her husband Bernard Duffy of Catherine's Catholic Church; her grandson Allan Duffy; her son-in-law Jim Nielsen; her sisters, Beverly Page (Wayne) and DeLayne Bickett (Larry); and her in-laws, Thomas, Monica Duffy, Mary, Vane Miller, Jim, Joan Duffy and Donald Wetrich.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Duffy (Cheryl), Madison, Gregory Duffy (Nila), David Duffy (Karen) and Janelle Nielsen; her grandchildren, Ryan Duffy (Elizabeth), Tom Nielsen (Erin), Madison, Travis Duffy, Brandon, Jenna Nielsen, John Duffy (Kim), Nicole Keating (Trevor), Arlington and Staci Carlson (Andrew); her brother Michael Dahlen (Janet); and her sister-in-law Sarah Wetrich. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Thomas More Catholic Church (1700 8th St S, Brookings, SD 57006). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. The inurnment was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the St. Catherine's Catholic Cemetery.
